Danielle Staub former housewife of the Bravo hit reality series The Real Housewives of New Jersey has finally admitted to the world that she needs help. Danielle explains that she suffers from low self esteem and addictions to love, and that she is finally able to receive help with her problems because she has opened up about her past and problems.
Danielle Staub was my favorite New Jersey housewife, and I overlooked everything that was ever publicized about her. The media set Danielle Staub out to be this bad individual. She was sexually abused as a child that set her on a path of hostility, low self esteem and hatred. When Ashlee Holmes, Jacqueline Laurita’s daughter pulled out Danielle’s extensions, Danielle reacted by calling the cops because she felt threatened by Ashlee. When Danielle was threatened by Teresa Guidice and Caroline Manzo, she reacted to the situation negatively. Danielle was abused when she was a child, which leads to this hostility towards other people which is a natural instinct for a victim of abuse. Being abused as a child, Danielle ran away to live on her own. She was an exotic dancer and met a man who led her on the wrong path. She was a young girl living on her own, not knowing right from wrong. Danielle was arrested, but for things that were not in her control. Her ex-husband wrote a book called “Cop Without A Badge” and told the story of Danielle Staub being arrested, a kidnapper, and a drug addict, but never did her ex once mention her abuse as a child, that she ran away from home, and that the man she got involved with was no good. Past friends got a hold of the book and released the information, not knowing exactly what was officially true. They judged Danielle based on what her ex had wrote about her.
Currently, Danielle is considered this crazy, pathetic person, but she is not. The media portrays Danielle crazy as well as other individuals. Being a fan of hers, I looked more into Danielle’s story, read her book, and have personally met her to know what is true and what is not. If you have ever seen the show, you would know that Danielle’s children are the most polite, responsible, and caring children than any of the other housewives children. Jacqueline Laurita’s daughter is obnoxious and disrespectful and the mother does nothing about her actions. Teresa’s three daughters are given everything they have ever asked for and are never told the word “no.” Danielle’s daughters were taught right from wrong growing up and are the most well respected children out all the other children.
Danielle Staub is celebrity whose struggles fit the category of women’s studies. Her abusive relationships, her psychological issues, and her life in general cover many women’s study concepts. It is important for women to realize that you are greater, than everyone thinks. Nobody else knows you except for yourself and you can accomplish anything to your advantage, even if it means changing your actions for the better.
